Tab Preview Safari Sidebar

This Extension adds a Sidebar to each Safari Page you are on previewing the current and all other open Tabs of the current window, it allows you to close Tabs, activate them directly form the Sidebar and more...

There is just one Setting:

Allow Hover Previews while moving your Pointer over a Thumbnail or not, this will show a larger Preview next to the Sidebar overlaying the current Page, if you leave a Thumbnail or the Sidebar the Preview gets hidden as well.

In the Sidebar you can see a Button on the very top to toggle the Side of the Sidebar, it can either be on the left or on the right side, it slides away by default leaving a small part visible in the center of the screen, once you hover over it it slides open to show its content, this done to allow you accessing Page content below the Sidebar if there is any.

Download the Extension from here!

You can double Click the Leap, a red Pin appears indicating the Siderbar is now pinned to be always open, you can double click it again to make it slide in and out again

The Sidebar show max 5 Tabs in a Cloumn, once there are more, the Siderbar will grow into a 2 Column width, that allows you to open up to 10 Tabs, if there are even more, this doesnt work, the others are out of the visible way and not accessible from the sidebar

Additionally to the Hover Preview there is always a Quick-look action on each Tab Preview, simply hover over a Thumbnail you want to preview and hit the Spacebar, a Preview in large will appear and stay open unless you press the Spacebar again, but beware, to close the Preview the Mouse needs to be hovering the same Preview it was used to open the Quick-look

To activate a Tab simply click it, once you hover over a Thumbnail, a Label with the Tab Title shows up and hides on Mouse Leave again

To Close a Tab you have 2 options:

1. While hovering over a Thumbnail, press the SHIFT Key, the Thumbnail shrinks down, and if you click the shrieked Image, this Tab will be closed

2. You can simply swipe on your e.g. Magic Mouse or Scroll Wheel the opposite side the Siderbar is, so if the Sidebar is on the left, swipe right, if you swipe a bit, the Image starts rotating, you need to swipe harder to trigger the close Event, once done, the Image rolls out of the Sidebar and a Delete Sound will occur, the Tab gets closed

The current Tab you are on is always highlighted by a yellow border and a white Star on blue background in the top right corner

Important Note for pre Safari 6.1 Users:

This Extension will work also on older Safari Versions but it may not be as preferment as it can be, Apple changed some Code to improve the Performance on the Feature

Also if you are using AdBlcok Extension you may see a hue lag on Tab Activation or even whenSafari activates, this occurs for me on Safari 7.0, in this case you will need to choose, either AdBlcok or this Extension, both together don't may work properly
